Making Your Own Flower Essence Formulas

We encourage you to build a personal pharmacy of flower essences so that you can create your own formulas.

What you need to create your formulas

�	*	A wide assortment of flower essences in stock potency bottles. Flower Drop Faeries single flower essences are sold in stock bottles.
�	*	Glass dropper bottles: Should be rinsed out and unused. Never use plastic. 1 fluid ounce is a good size. You can buy the bottles we use from us here.
�	*	Water: Filtered tap water is excellent, convenient, and healthful. Filter out fluoride and other toxic chemicals while saving money on bottled water. To filter water we use and recommend www.wholywater.com
�	*	Brandy: This is the traditional substance for preserving flower essences. Generally we use a 50/50 solution of water and brandy. We suggest Korbel as its easy to find and the vibration is clear. You might find locally made brandy. Shelf life is many years.
�	*	Apple cider vinegar: is an option to using brandy if you or one of your patients wishes to avoid alcohol. Don't dilute the vinegar. Shelf life is a very long time.
�	*	Bulgarian Rose water: is another option if alcohol is to be avoided. Don't dilute the rose water. Shelf life is about 24 months. You can buy the rose water we use from us here.
�	*	Labels which stick to glass.
�	*	Water resistant pen for writing on your labels. Fine point Sharpie pens work very well.
�	*	Paper or greeting cards to personalize instructions and good wishes for your patient or friend.
�	*	Keep a journal to keep track of your experiences using flower essences, as well as your recipes for formulas, your notes and photos and drawings.
�	*	Your pharmacy area should be a sacred and quiet where you can work in peace.

How to choose the right flower essences
for a Formula Bottle

Every formula you create is a unique recipe for a unique person or situation. To determine which essences are best for a formula you may use:

1) a pendulum for selecting flower essences
2) your own intuitive or psychic abilities
3) reading the definitions of the flower essences on our website and make decisions based on logic or a gut feeling.

Use which ever method or methods appeal to you. All of them are right and useful, none are wrong or less effective.

Making notes:

What is the problem? List the flowers which address it.
What details or factors need to be dealt with? List the flowers which will help.
What is the outcome or change desired? List the flowers which transform.

Some practioners have rules which say to use no more than 5 or 7 flower essences per formula. We don't believe in rules. We believe in the power of your own intuition and guidance from The Devas and Angels. Follow your heart, instincts, and guidance. We and others often use more than 30 flower essences for one formula. Again, there are no rules.

Making a Formula Bottle
(sometimes called a Dosage Bottle)

The flower essences you purchased from us are at "Stock Potency." You will get approximately 256 drops from each 1oz stock bottle. You can certainly use your Flower Drop Faeries essences right out of the bottle, we do it all the time. But your money will go the farthest, you address very complex situations or problems, and you can help the biggest number of people and furry friends if you create Formula Bottles.

Begin by writing down what you are wanting to achieve or change. Then select the flower essences you feel are best suited and write their names down in your pharmacy journal and begin your recipe.

Fill your rinsed glass dropper bottle 1/2 way with filtered or spring water, and 1/2 way with Brandy. Then add 9 drops of each flower essence in your recipe to create and complete your formula.

Why do we use 9 drops when some practioners use 7? This is a nod to Rudolph Steiner and his work. Steiner believed in the power of 9 and increments of 9. We have worked with the number 9 for years and agree - its powerful!

After you have completed your formula rinse the dropper, insert it, and close the bottle. Label the bottle using a water resistant label and pen (fine point Sharpies work very well). Name the formula and date it.

When you name your formula bottles it is VERY important to always avoid negative words, selecting only positive words. For example: if you've been hurt by a person and its time to move on, rather than write "I hate so-and-so" on the label use positive words like "Love, Self Esteem, Mending Wounds, and Moving On." That's much better! The word "hate" will leave a negative imprint in your water. We want to create only positive vibrations in our work.

This is a lovely saying to recite after you've made a formula bottle ~
"Love, gratitude, grace, peace, and vibrant health to the being who will receive this flower essence formula."

Avoiding Contamination

You want to keep negative vibrations and such away from your flower essences. If the dropper fell or touched your fingers or tongue rinse it under running filtered water before re-inserting it in the bottle. If you ever feel your bottles picked up negativity or contamination simply ask the Devas to remove all contamination and it shall be done.

Storing Your Flower Essences

Store your Flower Drop Faeries essences away from direct sunlight, computers, and away from negative persons. If you leave your bottles out on the sink or counter, don't panic, it will be fine. We just want to avoid long term exposure to intense sunlight. Would you believe that even if your Flower Vibrations go through an airport scanner that they will still be pure and active? Yes they will!

How long of a period of time should I use
a formula?

This depends on many factors. This is where your intuition comes in handy. Generally if you're working on a deep situation that's been there forever its a minimum of 3 weeks. For deep long term problems you might want to address some of the surrounding issues, the easier to deal with stuff, rather than dive right into the core of the matter.

When you or the friend you are assisting is going through a transformation its rather like pulling weeds in the garden - just when you thought you were weed-free, overnight almost, more spring up and need to be dealt with. Yes, life is like that, its a continuum of change and constant weeding. But really it gets better, easier. Eventually the weeds thin out and become easier to remove and deal with. Soon a healthy and beautiful garden will flourish, in other words, soon a healthier and better you will flourish.

As you change your formulas will change. Expect to take a succession of formulas.

How often do I take drops?

Generally for an adult its 9 drops taken 3 times a day. However, for something like nervousness when you want a formula for "as needed" there will be days when you need drops more often - perhaps every 15 minutes until calm has been restored.

To do this work must I be certified or
take training?

No! Certainly you can spend money that way, but its not necessary. Anyone with the desire and the knowledge of a few basics (which you can find on this page) is ready to be of service to all beings. If you wish, there are plenty of interesting books on the subject, your local independent book store can order anything you want.

How to Talk to Devas and Angels

You have heard us talk about Devas (pronounce it day-vuh, not dee-vuh) and you might be wondering what they are. Deva is a Sanskrit word for "being of light." Angels are often thought of as beings of light too. They are part of the unseen world of nature spirits. Every plant and flower has its own Deva or Angel and they are anxious and happy to help us. Communicating with Devas and Angels is rewarding part of working with flower essences which is truly life altering and enriching, your spiritual work will spiral to another level.

Devas and Angels love flowery and softy elegant speech full of sweet sayings, lots of gratitude, and poetic words right out of an old story book. Once you get the hang of it you might find that using such lovely wordage in your daily life is really rewarding and adds depth to conversations with others.
